VERDICT: NOT GUILTY

In 2019, Samuel Johnson was charged with the Robbery of the Credit Union on East Virginia Beach Boulevard on three separate occasions.  Mr. Johnson was held in jail for a year awaiting trial.  Eric Korslund pointed out to the jury, through enhanced technology, that the evidence failed to connect Johnson to the crimes.  He compared the scar on the bank robber that were noticeable on surveillance photographs, did not match Johnson’s physical appearance. The jury ACQUITTED Johnson of all three Robberies.
